A bit of a mixed bag today, but a fun one. So here We Go!....Fort Worth Tx 3/19/84 Junkyard Dog vs "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin with his valet Precious! This match was fun and the crowd was alive for it! As always JYD didn't do a lot, but what he did mattered. The Interplay between JYD and Precious was great! Before the bout even began! Precious stood in front of Jimmy and verbaly taunted the Dog. Even pushing him back at one point! She distracted JYD long enough for Garvin to smack him! Once the bell rung Garvin would stall, At one point JYD chased him out of the ring to the floor. While Garvin got a hug from his "main squezze" JYD reached thru the ropes and messed Garvin's hair. They repeated the same spot again but as the heels were hugging the second time Dog messed up Precious's hair! The crowd lost it! Mid-South Wrestling TV for the 3rd week of April 1984. We begin with Boyd and Jim at the desk reminding us that this week is the finals of the Mid-South TV Title Tournament. Pitting Krusher Kruschev againist Terry Taylor. The winner recives 10,000 dollas and a medal.We then go to an odd taped segment of Ross in another studio, explaining in more detail how each man got to this point and then showing us those moments! I guess Watts was not happy with the segment during the original taping. This felt strange like it was post produced it obviously  and shoe-horned in. This was the entire first segment.      Both men are in the ring to begin the title match as they return from break. However before introductions ring announcer Reeser Bowden says that theu have a special presentation for Taylor at ringside. A woman is there with a box of roses from a"Little Crippled girl that is Taylor's biggest fan"! Taylor accepts the gift and kisses the young lady very willingly! Butc...

3 NJPW Matches one from 1/20/84, 2 bouts from 1/27/84

Author's Note I somehow missed a NJPW match from 1/20/84, So let's start there! Match #1 Black Tiger/Cobra vs Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid If you know anything about these four grapplers you come into seeing it with high expectations. Those were met! Wow just constant action! Everybody was crisp and stiff and in the right place at the right time! Davey Boy really stood out in the match. At one point Cobra monkey flipped him and he landed on his feet right behind Cobra. It was a tremendous catlike maneuver. Then he presses Cobra over his head and hurls him out over the top rope with ease. My only real complaint about the match it had no ring psycology at all, guys would tag in do something devastating and let his opponent just make the tag! The one story of the bout was Dynamite Kid avoiding Cobra each time the white mask came in DK would tag out! Finish saw Davey and Cobra fight out past the safety rails.
